Alyssa Svalberg<\/strong> currently serves as the Facilities Assistant Director for the Gold Crown Foundation in Lakewood, Colorado. Alyssa oversees three facilities including the Gold Crown Field House (six basketball courts and eight volleyball courts), Keli McGregor Field at Coca-Cola All Star Park (baseball and softball fields),\u00a0and the Clubhouse Enrichment Center at Edgewater. In her role, Alyssa manages a team of 25 employees, and is responsible for facility and risk management, day-to-day event coordination including scheduling, invoicing, game-day operations, and maintenance.<\/p>

Before her role at the Gold Crown Foundation, Alyssa worked in event coordination and fundraising for Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO). In her role at SOCO, Alyssa was a part of fundraising over $1.2 million in both 2018 and 2019 for the local Colorado program. She assisted in planning an international conference with over 1,500 attendees in 2019.<\/p>

Alyssa has experience in multiple facets of athletics, specifically working in the facilities, social media and marketing realms. With her event coordination background, she has volunteered with many organizations over the last three years in the development, promotion, and coverage of events.<\/p>

Alyssa, a former Metropolitan State University-Denver student athlete, was a second-team All Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference volleyball student-athlete. She was a standout on teams that made it to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen (2016) and Second Round (2017). Alyssa is a Denver native who enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and continuing to support both MSU-Denver\u2019s athletic and academic programs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
